1. Draw your design directly to the surface or use a carbon paper
to copy a pattern.
2. Glue the mosaic stones piece
by piece. You find a suitable adhesive will be found in our catalogue.
3. Smaller pieces can be cut
with a mosaic nipper.
Grout
The mosaic can be grouted after 24 hours. Mix the grout
powder with water. The consistency should be like toothpaste.
Bring the grout into the spaces with the help of a grout
rubber. Finally you have to clean the surface carefully. .
Indirect Method
1. Take a plate and lay on it
your pattern then the foil and finally the net (H0006). Fix the three layers with adhesive tape.
5. Remove the foil carefully. Let the
glue dry completely which takes a few hours.
2. Glue the mosaic stones with
normal wood glue onto the net. Don't take to much glue.
6. Now you can glue the mosaic
onto the floor or on the wall like a normal tile. Use our mosaic
glue or the flexglue.
3. You can brake the mosaic
stones with the mosaic nipper to get smaller pieces. (For marble
or ceraton use H0002, for glass use H0049)
7. Press the mosaic carefully
with a piece of wood and a hammer.
4. After 24 hours you can turn
the whole mosaic by the help of a second plate. If you have a big
mosaic accept help of another person.
8. Remove pour out glue in
time. An old toothbrush and water helps you.
